To: my friends, my family, random strangers I have encountered
Whenever I did not ask
Whenever I thought I could not ask
Whenever I did not know to ask
Whenever I thought I did not need it
Whenever I knew I did not really need it
Whenever I needed it. Badly
You reached me
You touched me
You loved me
You pushed me
You called me
You wrote me
You cared
You were:
present
kind
thoughtful
generous
funny
silly
When it mattered

This resonates well with me! I relate totally.
…we don’t often pause to reflect on how ‘just-in-time’ another person’s action can be…

Glad to hear! And best wishes to you always…a stranger whom I call a friend in Canada
Asante sana, we may be strangers now but with the way life goes, we could be neighbours one day
…or more likely as with most Kenyans we will discover the 2 degrees that separate us!

This post really resonates right now as I figure out what’s what. . .I hope that when it matters these will be the things said to me, the things that will reassure me about the decision I need to take. And that when it matters, these words will give me the strength to stand by my decision. . .
Hey Ms. Afrofem…long time…good luck with the decision making…
